The Redentore is the biggest boat party that you ever imagined. It takes place every third Saturday of July. This local celebration celebrate the victory over the biggest pest plague of 1630. It has become for venetians an ideal excuse to take out boats and to all gather at Bassin in front of Saint Mark square for a big celebration where everybody brings more than enough foods and drinks.
At around 18:00 hours boats enter the Bassin and music, drinks and food makes waiting for the fireworks enjoyable.
